The value of coaching is having dedicated time to think clearly about something important, without distraction or pressure to perform. You’re in a real conversation with a trained coach who can reflect to you  what’s happening and help you work through it in real time, something that’s difficult to do on your own.

Most conversations in our lives are two-way, but coaching is different. The focus stays on you and how you’re thinking. That kind of space is hard to find elsewhere. Friends and family are important, but they’re not neutral.  They care about you, they have opinions, and they’re often part of the situation in different ways.

Coaching creates a separate space that’s just for you, where the focus isn’t on giving advice, but on helping you think clearly and decide what makes sense.  Because of that, the value of coaching isn’t usually measured by a single outcome or metric. It tends to show up in how you think, decide, and communicate, often leading to better decisions, stronger relationships, and greater effectiveness over time.
